( Lorna is not a woman without pride, and coming to Marcos when she knows full well how this is all going to play out is a near betrayal of that pride. Yet if there's anything Lorna's learned as of late, it's what hits her pride can and cannot take. This is something she can swallow for the future of her family.
So she shows up to the place Marcos told her about, finding him just as he said she would. She shoves her hands into the pocks of her jackets. )
[ He's waiting for her, his stress levels already close to bubbling over. He spends the time between when they sign off and when she arrives by pacing the floor, cleaning up overturned chairs and shelves, and pulling stray plants out of the brickwork to make the place liveable. It's still far from homely, but that's okay because this isn't home.
He tries and fails to not think about Lorna.
She'd pulled that plane out of the sky and then vanished, despite everything they'd promised each other and despite how he'd begged her to stop. He thinks of her now, and it's impossible to not think of those moments beside the airfield, or after, when she'd shown up at the ruins of the Underground looking like power and money and telling him she wasn't there for him. He clenches his fist, and tries to put it all aside. Even so, it flares back when she walks in, still looking like money. He grimaces. ]

I guess you should come in. I cleaned up, but it still looks like Jumanji in here, so there's that.
